Cross-country skiing at Rossignol

There are many successful athletes and biathletes. But one will probably remain in the minds of all of them: Martin Fourcade ended his biathlon career as one of the most successful biathletes of all times in March 2020. Fourcade is, next to the Norwegian Björndalen, the most successful biathlete of all times and with seven overall World Cup victories in a row the dominator of the scene. When Martin Fourcade was 8 years old, his love for the Rossignol brand began. He will remain loyal to the French brand until the end of his career.

Band of Heroes

The Rossignol “Band of Heroes” team includes the biathlon queen from Italy and overall world cup winner Dorothea Wierer, her Italian world champion colleague Lisa Vitozzi, the French young star and world champion Emilien Jacquelin, the German IBU Cup winner Lucas Fratzscher or in cross-country skiing with the overall World Cup winner and dominator Alexander Bolshunov, the Norwegian Tour de Scandinavia winner Paal Golberg and with the German World Cup stars such as Thomas Bing, Antonia Fräbel or Pia Fink still highly occupied.

X-IUM Series

Developed in close collaboration with World Cup athletes such as Martin Fourcade, Rossignol has completely re-launched its Race Performance line for the 2021 season. New materials, new constructions and new shapes provide even more performance in the skating and classic area.

X-IUM Skating Premium

The World Cup racers are enthusiastic about the new X-IUM Premium Skating cross country skis. The construction, material and shape have been completely revised to increase the performance level significantly. Skating in a whole new dimension!

X-IUM WCS Skating S2

The X-IUM WCS Skating S2 is also new this year. The second model in the Rossignol range is made for ambitious runners and experts. It is based on World Cup proven racing technologies such as the ultra-light Nomex honeycomb core reinforced with carbon, the original K7000 World Cup and Supra Edge technology for the necessary rebound.

X-IUM SKATING

The entry-level model of the RACE Expert line is ideal for motivated and sporty skating beginners. The World Cup-inspired construction with a carbon-nomex honeycomb core as in the top models offers everything you need for maximum fun on the slopes.

X-IUM R-SKIN PREMIUM

Rossignol also relies on designs that have proven themselves in the World Cup and are inspired by it. The focus here is on innovative technologies, high-quality materials and new shapes. In addition to the dynamic ski construction typical of Rossignol, the pointed shovel and its high flexibility are characteristic of Rossignol’s ideal insertion behaviour.

Boots

Rossignol offers sole constructions specially developed for each performance area for an even better setup of ski, binding and boot. In addition, Rossignol uses patented technologies such as Dual Core or Thermo Adjustable Fit (adjustment of fit through heat treatment from the Carbon Premium Course to the X8) for even better performance and control. For the 20/21 season, Rossignol is rounding off its Turnamic® sole line with two new Carbon Course soles. Thanks to the Carbon Thermodure technology, sole and heel reinforcement become one, making energy transfer even more efficient.
