Weekly community events - in Garmisch-Partenkirchen & Weilheim
Running. Biking. Meet people. Enjoy the evening.
Off to the couch after work? Not with us! Whether you're a beginner or an ambitious athlete - our free community events focus on fun, exercise and community. Our tours are followed by our popular get-together with an after-work drink.
Whether biking or running, with us you have the choice of how you want to organise your after-work activities. We not only offer our weekly Pub Run on Wednesdays in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, but also our Pub Bike Ride every two weeks on Thursdays.
Garmisch is too far for you? No problem, you can also take part in our After Work Run in Weilheim every Wednesday.
The ski touring meetup in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Join us for the winter edition of the GAP Pub Run—our weekly nighttime ski touring event on Garmisch-Partenkirchen's local mountain! Every Thursday evening, we ascend to Drehmöser 9 under the starry sky (headlamp required!). During these Sport Conrad tours, participants can test the latest ski touring equipment from our partner brands in the ski industry. Even experienced ski tourers will enjoy getting to know the latest innovations. After the ascent, we round off the evening with a cozy get-together and a free drink at Drehmöser 9.
All key dates at a glance
> When: between January 29 and February 26, 2026, every Thursday
> Meeting point & equipment distribution: from 5:00 p.m. at the Hausberg valley station
> Start of the tour: 6:00 p.m.
> Destination: Drehmöser 9
> Get-together: After the ascent at Drehmöser 9 – drinks are on us!

Please note: A minimum of 5 participants is required for each tour.

> You are a confident skier.

GAP Pub Run - Garmisch-Partenkirchen
The After Work Run in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Running in a relaxed atmosphere through the Zugspitz region, cool people and a
drink together afterwards. The perfect run for everyone, who wants to combine training and socialising.
From April, the Gap Pub Run is back every Wednesday. A different running route around Garmisch-Partenkirchen is on the schedule every week. This way you get to know the most beautiful spots in the region. After the run, we invite you to a get-together and a drink of your choice.

> Meeting point: 6.30 pm, Conradl Bikeshop (right next to the Sport Conrad branch), Garmisch Partenkirchen
> Start: 7.00 pm
> Running route: 8-10 km, 150-300 vertical metres
> Registration: Not necessary - just come along and run for free!
> Test equipment: Different industry partners on site every week to test new equipment

The running club in Weilheim
A fixed start to the week for anyone who wants to run a few kilometres after work. Approx. 8-10 km at a relaxed pace, warm-up included, followed by a free drink and often test equipment from brand partners.
From April, the After Work Run is back every Monday. A different running route around Weilheim is on the programme every week and is planned and accompanied by a Sport Conrad Ambassador. After the run, we invite you to a get-together and a drink of your choice.

> Meeting point: 5.45 pm, Wirtshaus zum Gögerl car park, Weilheim
> Start: 6.00 pm
> Running route: 8-10 km, 150-300 metres in altitude
> Registration: Not necessary - just turn up and run along for free!
> Test equipment: Different industry partners on site almost every week to test new equipment

> Equipment: Please bring suitable running shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
> Weather: The runs take place in almost any weather. If it is not possible, we will inform you of alternatives in good time.
The mountain bike community event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Do you enjoy cycling or want to start? Together with our experienced mountain bike guides, Tobi Maul and Patrick Wagner or guides from Die Rasenmäher, we will explore the local trails around Garmisch-Partenkirchen. A cool bike community and the latest bike equipment from renowned manufacturers await you - you can borrow and test it during the ride. After the bike ride, we reward ourselves with a cool drink.

> Meeting point: 5.30 pm CONradl Bikeshop (right next to the Sport Conrad branch), Garmisch Partenkirchen
> Route: 15-25 km, 350-600 vertical metres
> Registration: Not necessary, just come along
> Test equipment: Different industry partners on site almost every week to test new equipment
> Community: Join our GAP Pub Bike Ride Facebook group to make sure you don't miss anything
> Weather: The rides take place in almost any weather. If it's not possible, we have a plan B and organise exciting bike-related workshops.
> MTB riding groups: Basically 2 groups with different levels of difficulty. A gravel ride-out is also organised from time to time.
Beginners: This is aimed at anyone who wants to start mountain biking and has little or no experience on trails. Here we ride on easy trails.
Advanced Beginners/Intermediate group: For anyone with some trail experience. Here we ride on easier trails.
Expert group: For those who already have good riding technique skills and want to and can ride more difficult trails.
> Required equipment: Own mountain bike and helmet are mandatory, additional protectors are recommended

Do you want to explore the most beautiful routes around Penzberg and Garmisch-Partenkirchen with other gravel enthusiasts? Then join the Gravel Community Rideout! Together, we'll discover fantastic gravel tracks, forest trails and hidden highlights in the region.
You can test the latest gravel bike equipment from renowned manufacturers on site - simply hire it, get on it and roll off! After the ride, there's a cool drink and relaxed chats in the community.
