The Atomic Revoshock Technology

Born on the race track. Built for the slopes.

60 years of Atomic innovations and numerous World Cup victories and records are the inspiration and driving force behind Redster and make the line a milestone in alpine ski equipment.

Revoshock Modul

Revoshock uses shock-absorbing modules that transfer energy from vibrations and impacts to the edge and convert it into acceleration, swing after swing. Revoshock is both a damping system and a turbo boost.

In the search for ways to make skis even faster, Atomic came up with Revoshock. Probably the best innovation ever in ski stability and damping. Skis perform best when they are in contact with the snow. In difficult snow conditions, this contact is often interrupted. The result: poorer control! Whether you can hold your line or not is the difference between winning and losing in a race. Revoshock keeps the ski stable, vibration-free and always under control, so that you bring your winning line perfectly to the finish. Even when the going gets really rough, your ski stays smooth thanks to Revoshock. Revoshock is more than just a damping system. With this technology, several spring steel modules are embedded in dynamic elastomers that absorb disturbing impacts and vibrations from the piste. The special feature is that Revoshock releases the absorbed energy back into the snow via the front part of the ski. The result: a responsive, powerful and predictable ride where you accelerate out of every turn. Revoshock is therefore both a damping system and a turbo boost.

Get even more out of your day on the mountain with the new ski from the Redster line. Whether you’re a pro obsessively fighting for every hundredth of a second on the Redster G 9 Revo S racing machine, or a racer making perfectly cut turns in the soft piste after ski club practice with your friends in the afternoon, you’ve got more than six decades of experience under your feet. Six decades in which Atomic has constantly developed the equipment and pushed it to the limit. Six decades of innovative new technologies in a pair of skis that has one mission above all: to be fast. The new Redster line represents the natural evolution of history, of Atomic DNA. The combined knowledge and 65 years of experience of hundreds of racers, service people, engineers and designers get to the heart of it.

Atomic Q Series

For the 2022-2023 season, Atomic expands its successful Redster family with new, wider skis for wider ambitions–Redster Q. Made for all-day groomer skiing through changing snow conditions, the Q series is ready to handle anything from early morning hard-packed corduroy to freshies on piste, bumps, chop, and afternoon slush. The concept can be compared to the idea of a gravel bike: a high-performance construction for groomed trails with more versatility for changing surfaces. On top of the line-up, the series features World Cup-proven Revoshock technology to provide a smoother, more precise and powerful run, no matter the surface.
