Peak Performance – 10 years Helium series

A jacket for different types of activities, the Peak Performance Helium series. It offers a seamless transition from everyday wear to performance wear. All without compromising fit, quality or function.

The Helium down series turns 10 this year – Designed to be a packable garment for use in extreme outdoor conditions. Today, it is the most versatile of Peak Performance jackets.

In addition, they are the lightest down jackets in the Peak Performance range and can be stowed away quite practically and small. If you fold the jacket properly, it takes up hardly more space than an orange. But beware: if you attach more than ten helium balloons to it, it might fly away. The iconic rounded quilting pattern comes from the lining of an old Japanese parka and has become unmistakable.

You can now wear the models on your adventures all year round – both as a lightweight summer jacket and as a liner in winter. Inspired by the fact that Peak Performance athletes wear the products both during activities on the mountain and in their free time in the city, there is a Helium model for everyone: from the city to the mountain, during work and for everything in between.  Because it’s extremely thin and lightweight, the jacket doesn’t bulk you out and still keeps you cozy and warm. Even in summer, the Helium jacket is used, since it takes up almost no space, you have it best always with you to be equipped for spontaneous adventures.

In addition to the classic Helium jacket, there are two other variants of the style: the Helium Hybrid and the Helium Vest. The Helium Hybrid is especially popular with hikers or mountain bikers. The combination of down on the body and jersey fabric on the arms makes it a more summery and layering-friendly option. Additionally, the Helium is also available as a vest. What makes the Helium series so lightweight and warm at the same time? All models are lined with high-quality and sustainably sourced 90/10 duck down/feather fill.

In an ongoing effort to find more sustainable methods and materials and promote conscious consumption, Peak Performance is in a constant process of producing products that are as sustainable and durable as possible. For example, since 2022, its outerwear has been made entirely from recycled polyester fibers. The down can even be traced via the Track My Down® program.
