The outdoor event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
The popular AlpenTestival will once again attract outdoor fans to the mountains around Garmisch-Partenkirchen from 1-4 August. Young and old can look forward to guided tours, an exciting supporting programme and our Sport Conrad test centre. In the Expo area, you will also have the chance to get your hands on top-quality test products from well-known brands at bargain prices.
ABOUT THE AlpenTestival
During the AlpenTestival you will have the opportunity to explore the varied landscape with professional guidance on easy to challenging hiking, climbing, biking and trail running tours. Highlights include climbing the Zugspitze via the Höllentalklamm gorge and the Alpspitze via ferrata, considered by experts to be the ultimate via ferrata. Our programme favourites
Exciting talks, useful workshops and fun challenges await you at the Testival site in the Olympic Stadium. We have put together our favourites for you:
Sport Conrad Shake Out Run
If you want to relax after a hard or fun day on the mountain, don't miss the Shake Out Run with test shoes from Salomon and On. Under the guidance of our running expert you will get fit for two more days of fun and action on the mountain.

Workshops: First Aid & CPR Training
The BRK will be offering the opportunity to brush up on your first aid skills on all three days of the festival. Because let's be honest: who has regularly updated their knowledge since getting their driving licence and feels prepared for an emergency in the mountains?
First aid - what you should always have with you
Dates: Friday 14:30 - 15:30, Saturday 11:30 - 12:30, Sunday 10:30 - 11:30.
First aid: chest compressions
Dates: Friday 17:30 - 18:00, Saturday 16:00 - 17:00, Sunday 14:30 - 15:30.

Fjällräven's mobile waxing station
Experience Fjällräven's products up close and test the material. Visit the stand and learn from the wax master how to maintain the products in a sustainable way.

Talk: Moving in nature with consideration - tips for outdoor behaviour
Without it, outdoor sports wouldn't be such an incomparable experience: nature. This is why many outdoor sports enthusiasts already show great respect for flora and fauna. In their presentation, the Gebietsbetreuung Bayern will show how best to behave outdoors.

Talk by paraclimber Marcel Richter
Marcel Richter, who lives in Ehrwald, is a member of the German paraclimbing national team and met his current climbing coach by chance at the AlpenTestival. He discovered climbing at the age of 24 when he was looking for a way to develop more strength in his fingers due to his disability.

Outdoor Secondhand: NOMOI
At the end of 2022, we at Sport Conrad started offering second-hand outdoor clothing for the first time. The reason: Together with our customers, we can make a small contribution to protecting the environment and conserving resources. With great success: NOMOI was so well received in our three stores that we have been offering the second-hand concept permanently since the beginning of 2024.
We will also be present at the AlpenTestival with a NOMOI booth where you can learn more about our secondhand concept. You can find out more about how NOMOI works on the NOMOI page.
