Due the current situation the Alpen Testival 2020 has to be postponed. It will take place from 06.08.2021 to 08.08.2021.
The popular AlpenTestival belongs to Sport Conrad and Garmisch-Partenkirchen as much as the unique scenery dramatically rising into the height of 3000 meters above the sea level belongs to the Bavarian foothills of the Alps. This extraordinary outdoor event is happening now for the 9th time in one of most beautiful alpine regions.
TEST AS MUCH AS YOU CAN in the unique Bavarian mountain landscape: 7th -9th of August 2020
The Sport Conrad Test Centre is located directly at the ski stadium in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Here you can test the latest products and newest technologies of outdoor equipment from top brands for free and put them on test on one of the many bookable tours. Brands e.g. like Salewa, CEP, Ghost, La Sportiva, Leki, Lowa, Lowe Alpine, Maloja, Ortovox, Salomon, Scott, Uvex, Vaude, Schöffel, Deuter and Five Ten. In addition to many great tours, an exciting supporting program will make you want to discover the Werdenfelser Land.
Enjoy the AlpenTestival on one of the many tours
Climbing, hiking, biking and water sports – there is the right thing for everyone! Climb summits on the Alpspitzferrata, challenge yourself by taking a climbing or boulder class, step out of your comfort zone on the Zugspitz climb, discover the mountains on a mountain bike tour or test your limits while canyoning. Special features such as a wild herb workshop, the flying fox from the ski jump and a 24-hour hike with Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner and Billi Bierling are waiting for you at the AlpenTestival.

Relax with yoga or go for a trail running workout
In addition to these various tours, there is also an exciting supporting program waiting for you with many surprises – all included in your testival pass!
Find your inner center during sunrise yoga, enjoy the amazing scenery of Partnachklamm and sun yourself at the natural swimming pool Kainzenbad. Get an adrenaline rush at Flying Fox, take part in the Lowe Alpine Axe Contest to win a backpack and go on a trail running adventure together with Salomon. In numerous workshops, you will learn, how to correctly interpret weather reports, how to properly read hiking maps or how to use herbs found in nature.
Where can you book your tours and other activities at the AlpenTestival?
Due to the current situation, the annual booking start will not be on April 1st as usual. We closely monitor current developments and keep you up to date on the AlpenTestival channels.
Admission to the Testival is free. You can either book your Testivalpass for tours online, or get your pass right at the event in August. If you like to test the available equipment, make sure to book a weekend AlpenTestival pass online or get one at the event.
