REDUCE - No waste in the production
Komperdell has a clear goal: to produce poles without a single gram of waste - while simultaneously minimising the environmental impact. To achieve this, the company relies on:
> Production in the heart of Austria with short delivery routes
> Electrostatic lacquering with water-soluble lacquers
> Recycling of aluminium dust directly on site
> 100% renewable energy in all buildings
Komperdell produces in the world's cleanest pole factory - with a carbon footprint better than an average household.
REPAIR - Repairing instead of throwing away
Komperdell has been offering a 3-year free repair service for over 15 years. Every defective pole is repaired within 24 hours - no questions asked, no ifs, ands or buts.
RECYCLE - Turning old into new
If a pole can no longer be repaired, it is professionally dismantled and recycled in the company's own recycling department.
Among other things, it is recycled:
7075 aluminium tubes → 12 tonnes per year → equivalent to over 850,000 cans
Foam handles → over 40 tonnes of foam per year
Loops → 6 tonnes per year
Tips & plates → 100% of production waste is recycled
