The softshell trousers are also fully alpine-compatible: abrasion-resistant reinforcement protects the leg cuffs from contact with rocks and sharp ski edges or crampons, while the inner gaiter keeps ice and snow out. The flat waistband can be easily adjusted with a Velcro fastener - so there are no uncomfortable pressure points when a climbing harness is worn. The slanted side pockets are easily accessible at all times. An additional leg pocket offers space for an avalanche transceiver, smartphone, topo map or hat.
