The abrasion-resistant, mid-cut upper is reinforced with a toe cap and a protective rubber rand. The waterproof and breathable Powertex® membrane provides reliable protection in wind and weather.

The special trekking profile, the two-part EVA midsole with varying degrees of stiffness and soft heel cushioning, and the soft, recycled, and adjustable CFF footbed, together with the included volume reducer insole, ensure high wearing comfort and an individual fit.

The Puez 2 Mid Powertex trekking shoe is equipped with a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole, which provides ideal grip and traction on technical terrain. But what makes the sole special is the new Salewa Edging Plate II: a special thermoplastic insole plate that extends over the entire length of the shoe. Thanks to the Edging Plate II, the shoe offers high flexibility and cushioning for long-lasting comfort while still providing high stiffness and stability in the forefoot and heel areas. This creates an ideal combination of flexibility and support.

The Salewa 3F system with Kevlar® laces further increases stability at the ankles and midfoot: the patented system connects the lacing system, sole, and heel, guaranteeing a secure fit while maintaining flexibility. The Climbing Lacing system also allows for precise lacing in the toe area for an even more precise fit, more support, and ideal adjustment.
