The Salewa Ortles Powertex 3L Hardshell Jacket is a technical weatherproof jacket designed for demanding mountaineering and ski touring adventures. Its waterproof, windproof, and breathable construction provides reliable protection against snow, rain, and strong winds, while also maintaining a comfortable body temperature during intense activity.

Fully taped seams and a waterproof front zipper provide additional protection in changeable conditions in alpine terrain. Two pockets with waterproof zippers offer secure storage for important small items, while the zippered inner pocket provides additional space for delicate essentials.

For added comfort during strenuous ascents, the jacket features ventilation zippers on the upper back of the arms that can be operated with one hand even under tension. The elastic storm hood provides protection in adverse weather and stays securely in place even when moving. Adjustable cuffs with Velcro closures allow for a custom fit and seal neatly over gloves.
