This well-designed 2-in-1 jacket Fanes 2L from Salewa with thermoregulating insulation can be worn either individually as a waterproof, breathable softshell jacket and as an insulating inner jacket - or in combination as a protective jacket in autumn and winter.

The two-layer outer material is made of Salewa's Powertex fabric, which has a high waterproofness (water column) of 20,000 millimeters. The water column describes the pressure that is required for water to penetrate the fabric. In addition, the material is equipped with a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) impregnation, which protects against dirt as well as water and thus contributes to breathability. The jacket is also part of the Salewa Committed collection, whose products are manufactured according to strict environmental and social standards.

The inner jacket uses Salewa's 80 gram TirolWool® Responsive insulation, which is obtained from Tyrolean mountain sheep that live at an altitude of over 2000 meters all year round and are ideally adapted to the harsh weather conditions. The insulation material is also refined with responsive yarns: These yarns contain thermo-reactive minerals that recycle the far infrared energy (FIR) emitted by the body and slowly release it again. This creates long-lasting, sustainable warmth. The inner jacket is also removable and is ideal for cold but dry weather.

The simple design conceals a high level of functionality: the two-way front zip is water-repellent, the cuffs can be adjusted in width using a snap fastener and the hood is adjustable.
