Like to get away from the slopes? Then here comes the future of freeriding: the Avabag Litric Freeride 26S from Ortovox is an avalanche airbag backpack specifically designed for off-piste skiing.

From powder days near the slopes to multi-day freeride trips: Avabag Litric Freeride and Tour Zip attachments of different sizes can be placed on just one base, always matched to the area of use. The Zip is designed in such a way that the different pack sacks and the base can be easily combined into a single unit.

The base consisting of the back element and airbag system of the Avabag Litric Freeride 26S has a shortened back system and is specially designed for smaller people. In addition, thanks to the Clasp Back System – with soft back pads, wide, flexible hip belt and soft shoulder straps – the versatile, lightweight Freeride Base sits compactly on the back while allowing full freedom of movement. It is compatible with the Clasp Spine Protector, available separately.

Litric, the electronic airbag system, combines lightness with ease of use and reliability. The electric system is charged in approx. 25 minutes with USB-C and allows numerous test releases at no extra cost. Doing away with cartridges means: more space, no weighing, no cartridge disposal, no travel restrictions. The design has been thought out down to the last detail, super capacitors are used instead of cartridges and the airbag is super light. In addition, the system is particularly easy to operate.

All the pack features are tailored precisely to freeriding: Features such as ski, snowboard and pick fixation are just as important as a helmet holder. Coupled with fast main compartment access, the Ortovox Avabag Litric Freeride 26S leaves nothing to be desired. Emergency equipment can be fixed in the main compartment in special gear loops.
