The Lofoten Gore-Tex® Pro Jacket by Norrøna is the original freeride jacket in the collection, developed for big mountain riding and demanding winter conditions. The durable 3-layer shell is designed for skiers who require reliable weather protection and long-term durability in changing weather, deep snow and challenging alpine terrain.

Norrøna uses 70D x 160D GORE-TEX® Pro fabric because it delivers durable waterproof protection, high breathability and complete windproof performance. The 3-layer construction is built for intensive mountain use and combines weather protection with a highly durable fabric structure developed for freeride skiing. The rugged face fabric is designed to withstand frequent use, equipment contact and demanding conditions throughout the season.

Key features include a protective storm hood with one-hand adjustment, front ventilation openings and two-way underarm zippers for efficient temperature regulation during changing levels of activity. Napoleon chest pockets provide quick access to essential gear and are complemented by a zippered stretch inner pocket, a large stretch mesh dump pocket and a keycard pocket on the upper arm. Asymmetrical hook-and-loop cuffs and integrated wrist gaiters create a secure interface with gloves, while the adjustable hem and removable powder skirt with elastic and snap-button closure provide additional protection in deep snow.

The technical construction with articulated sleeves supports unrestricted movement during active riding. An extended back panel offers additional coverage and protection in dynamic mountain environments.
