The Trek Mate 55 + 5 by Salewa is a comfortable women's trekking backpack – perfect for long weekends and extended, multi-day trekking tours when you carry all your gear with you.

The easily adjustable Dry Back Custom carrying system fits every back. It features a padded EVA back panel and 3D ventilation channels that support air circulation and breathability on the back – in summer as well as in winter. The split shoulder straps allow for plenty of freedom of movement. The adjustable back length, anatomically shaped and padded shoulder straps, lumbar support, and hip belt ensure that the backpack fits perfectly. Position adjustment straps also ensure an optimal fit on long distances, while the pre-shaped hip fins fit snugly and distribute the weight well across your hips. Thanks to its lightweight construction, the backpack is still very light.

The Trek Mate is made from lightweight, abrasion-resistant double ripstop polyester and has a reinforced base. Large storage compartments offer plenty of space for a change of clothes or tent poles, and there is also a separate front compartment. The front access allows you to reach the main compartment quickly and easily. If necessary, the height-adjustable lid can also be used to increase the backpack's storage space by an additional 5 liters – super practical if you want to take a larger trekking tent with you, for example.

The Salewa Trek Mate 55 + 5 has a protected zippered compartment for valuables and various external attachment options for trekking poles and other equipment. Practical daisy chain loops and additional straps can be used, for example, to store a sleeping pad on the outside of the backpack, creating more space inside.
