The Pedroc Light PTX by Salewa is a lightweight, versatile hiking and trekking shoe for men, specially designed for fast mountain tours, speed hiking, and dynamic outdoor adventures. It combines low weight with high durability and offers exactly the performance that demanding mountaineers expect.

The upper material made of highly abrasion-resistant ripstop PE ensures stability while remaining comfortable to wear. A protective TPU rand around the entire shoe increases durability and reliably protects the foot from scree and sharp-edged surfaces. Salewa's proven 3F system is used for precise support: robust Kevlar® cables with a resistant core connect the lacing, heel, and sole, ensuring an optimal fit, firm heel support, and maximum control — even on technical terrain.

Thanks to the PFAS-free PowerTex membrane, the Pedroc Light PTX is permanently waterproof and breathable at the same time. This keeps your feet comfortably dry even in changeable conditions, without compromising on good climate management. The Salewa standard footbed offers balanced comfort and provides reliable support for your feet on longer tours.

The Pomoca Speed Hiker outsole ensures a secure grip on a wide variety of surfaces. It has been specially developed for dynamic walking and offers excellent traction – whether on wet rock, gravel, or alpine trails.

Salewa also sets clear standards in terms of sustainability: the shoe is PFC-free, Chemicals Verified, produced under social monitoring, and carries the Salewa Committed label. The Pedroc Light PTX impresses not only with its technical features but also with its responsible manufacturing.
