The Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Mid GTX® is an excellent hiking shoe and a real all-rounder that has been specially tailored to the female foot shape. It is therefore very comfortable and goes with you through a wide variety of terrain and gives you a secure footing even in wet conditions.

The modern trekking shoe has a mid-cut shaft and is made from a robust, high-quality suede upper with hard-wearing stretch inserts on the tongue. Inside it has a waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort lining. The generous rubber edge offers additional protection against rock edges and debris.

Salewa has given the Alp Trainer 2 Mid GTX® a precise fit that offers you foot support and is extremely comfortable from the first time you put it on. The patented 3F system provides a firm hold at the ankle and lateral stability on rough terrain, while the soft Flex Collar gives the ankle more freedom of movement and increases comfort on downhill runs. With the adjustable Salewa® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) you can choose between different insoles and adjust the shoe volume to you. The climbing shoe lacing system also allows individual tightening up to the toes.

The optimized Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, offered only by Salewa®, improves performance and control on a wide range of mountain terrain. Thanks to its special climbing, grip and braking zones, it also impresses in wet and muddy conditions.
