The Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Gore-Tex® is a low-cut, women's alpine approach shoe designed for enhanced comfort on long days of hiking in rugged alpine terrain. The feet always stay nice and dry thanks to the Gore-Tex® equipment.

The rugged upper is made from premium suede and features a waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane and a 360° rubber rand for added protection from rocks and boulders for solid protection.

The multifunctional Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole has self-cleaning grooves and aggressive lugs that guarantee good grip on harder grounds and traction on soft terrain. For ferratas, special right-angled lugs form a via ferrata zone under midfoot to improve grip on iron.

The climbing lacing system can be adapted individually at the toe for greater climbing precision. This is part of Salewa’s 3F system that connects heel zone and the instep area with the sole. As a result, you will get a finely tuned balance between support and fit. The EVA midsole provides sufficient cushioning, and the Flex Collar of the Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Approach Shoes offers the ankle more freedom of movement while going downhill.
