The Houdini Stash 1/2 Zip Windbreaker by Patagonia is an extremely packable windbreaker without a hood, which you can take with you as weather protection for all your activities. 

The ripstop fabric is made from 100 % recycled nylon and has ventilation slits at the front and back. The lightweight fabrics are treated with a DWR finish for temporary weather protection. The two side pockets, which you can close with a Velcro fastener, have space for your cell phone and other small items. The zip pocket on the chest serves as a secure storage compartment for your money, but can also be used as a pannier.
