It was developed for short trekking or hiking tours. But it's also a great companion on adventures where you're carrying a moderate amount of gear. This spacious backpack offers plenty of room for the trekking gear you need for overnight adventures.

Access to gear is easy with a large side zipper that extends from the lid to the lower compression straps. The Kestrel 38 hiking backpack also features a lid with drawcord closure and a lower sleeping bag compartment with removable divider. The Kestrel's contact back system is designed for comfort and stability.

This trekking backpack features Osprey's proven AirScape back panel and a robust hip and shoulder strap for high load capacity. The length of the back panel can be easily adjusted using a Velcro system. Whether in mountainous terrain, in deep forests or on winding trails, the Kestrel backpack from Osprey sets standards in terms of carrying comfort and performance.
