Osprey: Companion in all the adventures of life

Osprey packs are designed to last through a lifetime of adventures and therefore minimize waste heading to landfill." With the All Mighty Guarantee, the company ensures that backpacks can be repaired wherever possible to extend their life. Osprey restores used backpacks as part of its Second Life program. Osprey has already eliminated over 9.739 kilograms of waste! The increased use of recycled fabrics made from both consumption and production waste is one of the latest milestones on the road to greater sustainability. By spring 2022, more than 60 % of the main material used in Osprey backpacks is to be made from recycled components, and by 2023, the percentage is to be increased to 80 %. Osprey has set a goal of eliminating PFC/PFAS finishes as of spring of 2022 in order to avoid harmful substances. Osprey also advocates for environmental protection and is a member of the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA).
