The Dermizax NX 3-layer construction protects against extreme weather conditions, while the technical design is fully focused on the needs of female mountaineers in the high mountains. The outer material is completely windproof and waterproof thanks to the particularly high-performance Dermizax NX membrane, without compromising on breathability and freedom of movement. 

Ortovox has used reinforced fabric in the hem area of the Westalpen 3L Light alpine touring trousers to guarantee protection against abrasion in rocky terrain or crampons. An internal 2-stopper hem adjustment also ensures a clean look and optimum fit over the mountain boot. The ventilation zippers provide a pleasant climate even on strenuous ascents. The Merino-Tec inserts on the waistband and the option to adjust the waistband with hooks offer additional comfort.
