The Lofoten Gore-Tex® Insulated Ski Jacket by Norrøna combines waterproof weather protection with strategically placed insulation for cold freeride days in deep snow, on groomed runs and in alpine terrain. It is designed for winter conditions where additional warmth is needed without sacrificing the freedom of movement and functionality of a technical shell jacket.

Norrøna uses GORE-TEX® fabric because it delivers durable waterproof protection, high breathability and complete windproof performance. The construction combines a 2-layer ePE GORE-TEX® fabric with body-mapped PrimaLoft® Silver insulation. By varying the insulation placement throughout the jacket, warmth is provided where it is needed most in cold conditions. The shoulders, elbows and front feature 60 g/m² insulation, while the back and collar are insulated with 40 g/m².

The freeride-specific construction includes ventilation options for temperature regulation, a protective storm hood and practical storage solutions for essential gear. Articulated sleeves support freedom of movement during active skiing, while the extended back panel provides additional coverage and protection from snow and changing weather conditions.
