It is equipped with the new Aergon Air. The latest generation of the handle, specially designed for trekking, has been further optimized for comfort and control and improved in every detail. The special cavity technology enables a combination of lightweight construction with large, supportive surfaces that meet all the ergonomic requirements of your hand. The handle head of the Aergon Air is fully rubberized and offers maximum grip and control when walking downhill.

The inclined angle helps to optimize wrist guidance and pole placement. The aluminum tube gives the Makalu great stability and makes it a robust companion on all tours.
