The Hanwag Makra Trek SF Extra Lady GTX is a sturdy and comfortable trekking boot for women, specially designed for longer hikes and multi-day tours with heavy luggage.

A special feature of this model is the Hanwag StraightFit Extra last, which combines the wide toe box of the StraightFit last with a straight big toe position and additional space in the forefoot and ball area. This makes the shoe particularly suitable for hikers with a wider forefoot or who want more space for their toes, while the midfoot remains firmly in place and offers secure support even on difficult terrain. The optimized Ghilly lacing system, which extends to the toe area and guides the laces through textile loops, also ensures a precise fit. Additional heel support is provided by Hanwag 2 Zone Lock with a mechanical clamp that remains reliably in position once fixed.

The so-called Makra-Fit allows the shoe and foot to work closely together and enables excellent power transfer from the forefoot to the heel. The cushioning PU midsole and the Vibram® Trekking SF outsole with a wide tread provide stability and sure-footedness on long trekking tours. Thanks to the waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane, your feet stay dry even in wet conditions, while the robust Perwanger suede leather ensures durability and breathability. The trekking boot is also resolable and therefore designed for a long life.
