It is designed to minimise weight and pack size. Two independent mat halves prevent an unpleasant rocking sensation at night when someone moves.

Airmat Technology creates an air-insulated construction, which makes the Ultra 1R Duo extremely light. All Exped backpacking mats feature Cradle Comfort for added comfort: the vertical outer air chambers are slightly raised for even better support on the mat.

The recycled, bluesign®-recognized ripstop polyester is ultra-light and three times stronger than conventional lightweight materials.

Thanks to the two flat valves, the mat can be inflated effortlessly and deflated just as quickly - robust, reliable, and intuitive to use. The Schnozzel pump bag included ensures fast, moisture-free inflation.
