The Deuter Guide 44 + 6 is a mountaineering backpack for extended alpine trips, mountaineering, climbing and ski touring. Its generous packing space makes it suitable when you need to carry more gear while maintaining a stable, close-to-body fit.

The Alpine back system keeps the pack close to your body for good load control in demanding terrain. An ergonomic back plate with a spring steel frame stabilizes your gear, while channels between the back pads provide ventilation. Pivoting hip fins and shoulder straps adapt to your movements, giving you the freedom you need in alpine terrain.

The Guide can be adapted to suit different trips and loads. The hip fins, lid and back pad are removable, while the height-adjustable lid provides additional packing space when required. This lets you strip the pack down or make use of its extended capacity depending on your gear. Deuter recommends a load of 8 to 15 kg.
