Plenty of space for longer trips combined with a fit designed for smaller physiques: the Deuter Futura Pro 38 SL is a 38-liter hiking backpack for multi-day hikes. Its five-stage VariClick system lets you adjust the back length to suit your body.
The Aircomfort back system creates space between the pack and your back for effective air circulation. Shoulder straps anchored directly to the frame improve load transfer, while padded hip fins distribute the weight. The shorter SL carrying system features shoulder straps and hip fins specifically shaped to suit the female anatomy.
With its 38-liter capacity, the Futura Pro 38 SL provides plenty of room for gear on longer hikes. A separate bottom compartment with a fold-up divider helps organize your equipment, while front and lid compartments keep essentials within easy reach. Trekking poles can be attached directly to the shoulder straps, a rain cover is included and the pack is compatible with hydration systems up to three liters.

The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
