Thanks to the innovative VariClick technology, the back length can be adjusted to five different settings. The easy-to-use click-feedback mechanism ensures secure and precise adjustment. The shoulder straps are attached directly to the frame to improve load transfer, and the padded hip fins distribute weight evenly across the hips to relieve strain on the back.
The rucksack is particularly light, breathable and comfortable thanks to its extended soft back mesh and optimised material construction. The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
