More space for longer hikes without sacrificing an adjustable fit: the Deuter Futura Pro 34 SL is a women's-fit hiking backpack with a 34-liter capacity. Its five-stage VariClick system lets you adjust the back length to suit your body.
The Aircomfort back system uses soft mesh extending into the lumbar area to allow plenty of air to circulate across the back. Shoulder straps anchored directly to the frame improve load transfer, while padded hip fins distribute the weight across the hips. The shorter SL carrying system is specifically designed for the female anatomy and smaller physiques.
With its 34-liter capacity, the Futura Pro 34 SL provides extra room for longer hikes. A separate bottom compartment with a zip-out divider helps organize your gear, while front, lid and additional outer pockets keep essentials within easy reach. Trekking poles can be attached directly to the shoulder straps without taking off the pack. Deuter recommends a load of 6 to 10 kg.

The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
