The Deuter Aircontact Lite 45 + 10 SL is a women's-fit trekking backpack designed for longer hikes and multi-day trips with a larger amount of gear.

The Aircontact Lite back system uses open-cell functional foam with a ventilation channel and leaves space around the spine to help relieve pressure. An X-frame transfers the load to the ergonomically shaped ECL hip fins, whose padding wraps closely around the hips for a stable fit when carrying heavier loads.

A zip-out divider helps organize the storage space, while an elasticated inner compartment provides separate storage for items such as wet clothing. Smaller essentials can be kept in the valuables pocket, and the removable lid adds flexibility when packing. Deuter recommends a load of 12 to 15 kg.

SL = women-specific fit
The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
