The Deuter Aircontact Core 45+10 SL is a women's trekking backpack designed for multi-day trips with extensive gear. Its SL carry system is designed for a shorter back length and supports a close-to-body, comfortable fit when you're carrying gear for several days.
ActiveBalance shoulder straps and flexible VariFlex hip fins follow your movements and support a balanced carrying feel. The padded ECL hip fins wrap around the hips and support efficient load transfer. Together with the aluminum Y-frame, they provide the stability required for heavier trekking loads, while Air Spacer mesh supports ventilation across the back.
The Aircontact Core is also designed to keep your gear organized on longer trips. The large U-shaped front opening provides direct access to the contents without having to unpack the backpack from the top. A separate bottom compartment, an internal compartment for wet gear and multiple pockets help keep equipment organized. The height-adjustable, removable lid provides additional flexibility when you need to carry a little more.

The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
