The Deuter AC Lite 28 SL is a lightweight women’s hiking backpack designed for day hikes. Its women-specific SL carrying system and Aircomfort back system combine an adapted fit with high ventilation and comfortable load distribution.

A ventilation space between the mesh and the back allows air to circulate, while the permanently elastic spring steel frame stabilizes the pack and distributes the load. The shorter SL back length and women-specific carrying system are designed to accommodate the female anatomy.

A spacious main compartment, dedicated smartphone pocket, stretch side pockets and internal and external lid compartments provide organized storage and easy access to essential gear while on the move.

The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
