When Castelli set out to develop the original Espresso Short Sleeve Jersey, they wanted to create a jersey that you would always want to wear, regardless of whether you normally wear an aerodynamic road jersey or a regular fit jersey. We developed a fabric that allows for a close fit without feeling constricting or tight. This fabric, developed by us, also offers excellent breathability and moisture management and has proven itself in the wind tunnel. With innovation in Castelli's DNA and a healthy passion for detail, they set out to perfect the favorite jersey. New features on the Espresso 2 short-sleeve jersey include a shorter fit at the front, which we achieved by lowering the collar height by 1.5 cm and shortening the elastic waistband. Castelli has paid a lot of attention to improving the structure of the pockets, which are now less stretchy and more compact, with a nice finish at the edges. Of course, the fourth zippered pocket for valuables remains indispensable. The updated new wordmark and Castelli scorpion are in a subtle tone-on-tone color, and our signature red scorpion is located on the zipper.
