Black Diamond designed the Distance 22L for long days in the mountains or overnight trips with minimal gear, combining the technology of running vests with the design of their alpine packs.

Featuring a vest-like suspension system that reduces bouncing while running, the Distance 22 combines a lightweight, comfortable running design with ample storage for larger mountain adventures.

The pack is constructed with BD SETT (Stitchless Edge Taping Technology) to enhance fit, comfort, and durability. The Distance 22 is equipped with their Z-Pole suspension system for quick deployment and two ice axe attachment points.
