The Arva Reactor airbag system is one of the lightest and most powerful dual airbag systems on the market. The design is slim and unobtrusive, without compromising on protection. The release handle can be mounted for both left- and right-handed users and stored safely in the integrated protective pocket. The leg strap prevents the backpack from slipping in an emergency. In addition, the integrated safety whistle on the chest strap provides extra safety.

The comfortable hip belt with two large zippered pockets allows quick access to important items without taking off the backpack. The flexible and lightweight shoulder straps ensure a comfortable fit and unrestricted freedom of movement, even on long climbs. Thanks to the adjustable back length (40–50 cm) and the innovative 3-in-1 3D-FIT adjustment system, the backpack can be optimally adapted to your body shape – for a perfect fit and optimal load distribution. A water-repellent, thermoformed backplate protects against snow and moisture. The backpack is compatible with a hydration system.

Compatible with the modular SWITCH system, the backpack can be flexibly expanded or combined with other modules – depending on the type of tour and your personal needs. The backpack consists of two parts: the Explore 30L Switch Cover and a Switch Frame Reactor. Each Explore 40L Switch Cover provides ample storage space for your gear. The main compartment is accessed via a large zipper on the front – ideal for quick access to your equipment without having to repack everything. An outer pocket for safety equipment with integrated holders ensures that your shovel, probe, etc. are immediately at hand.

Additional organization is provided by an inner pocket for keys and small valuables, and a very large pocket for a mask or frequently used items. Ideal for winter use are diagonal and side carrying straps for skis and attachments for ice axes, ropes, snowboards, and helmets.
