The Scarpa 4-Quattro SL is a very comfortable hybrid ski touring boot, suitable for both descents and ascents on moderate terrain. It is fitted with a GripWalk sole, which ensures better grip and comfort. The boot combines sensitivity, precision and sustainability, making it an ideal companion for all-day use on and off-piste.

Furthermore, the upper and shell are made from renewable or recycled materials, making them environmentally friendly. The Carbon Core technology ensures optimal torsional energy transfer and control over the skis, resulting in precise skiing. The Alpine Axial Hybrid construction enables easier entry into the boot, excellent power transfer when turning and unrivalled control.

Sustainability
The shell and cuff are made from  Pebax Rnew, which is derived from renewable, plant-based sources. The shell features an overmoulded carbon insert, which improves power transfer to the ski and ensures greater precision. The Power Strap is PVC-free,
and features the RECCO reflector for added safety.

Technology:

Carbon Core
The embedded carbon insert enables direct power transfer from the foot to the ski and ensures greater precision, responsiveness and control – even in the most demanding skiing conditions.

Speed Lock 4
The new Speed Lock 4 mechanism is made from aluminium and has been reinforced to make it suitable for freeride use. The traditional transition from skiing to walking is quick and effective thanks to the ergonomic lever and the strap, which also allows for use whilst wearing gloves.

Power Strap
The Velcro strap fastening wraps around the shin area as effectively as possible without adding much extra weight. It incorporates RECCO technology, which enables professional rescue organisations to quickly locate the skier in the event of an avalanche accident.

4 Buckles
Four lightweight and robust magnesium buckles are easy to operate, even when wearing gloves. The fine-tuning mechanism, combined with steel cables, ensures a precise fit and even pressure distribution whilst keeping the weight low.

4 Pro Flex SL
The Intuition liner is fully thermoformable, meaning it moulds perfectly to the skier’s foot. The closed-cell structure of the foam ensures better thermal insulation.
