The Salewa Winter Mate women's backpack offers 28 liters of volume: the ideal capacity for ski touring, splitboarding, and snowshoeing trips where you don't want to be overloaded.

Salewa's proprietary, lightweight, and breathable Dry Back Contact carrying system is tailored to the female anatomy and features 3D air channels in the EVA back panel to reduce perspiration – ensuring greater comfort on winter days, especially during strenuous activity.

Winter-specific features include: parallel ski attachment, ice axe, snowboard, and snowshoe attachments, an avalanche safety pocket for quick access to a shovel and probe, a full-length zipper for easy access to all contents, and special buckles that are easy to use even with gloves. There's also a secure valuables pocket with a key clip.

The Winter Mate is made of robust, double-layered 420-denier polyester and 750-denier polyester with a PFC-free, water-repellent coating that causes water to bead up and keep the contents of the backpack dry.
