The Rapace GTX is a lightweight mountaineering boot, crafted from robust nubuck and abrasion-resistant textile material with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining.

Secure grip combined with comfort and support – Salewa’s solution for via ferrata routes and alpine tours. The Rapace GTX combines the 3F system for ankle support with flexibility and an optimal fit. Its Vibram Wrapping Thread Combi (WTC) outsole features an aggressive tread pattern for good traction whilst offering a natural feel and secure grip on rocky terrain.

Salewa’s Bilight technology in the midsole guarantees ergonomic and durable cushioning for high levels of comfort. At the same time, the Rapace GTX is sturdy enough for use with hybrid/semi-automatic crampons. The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining ensures optimal climate comfort, whilst the all-round rubber scuff guard protects against chafing and impacts.
