Ortles Med is a warming insulation jacket and was designed for your alpine adventures in icy temperatures. High heat output and the minimal pack size have been perfectly implemented here. A 90:10 mixture of duck down filling and TirolWool® Hybrid-Responsive insulation is used in the down jacket. The two insulating materials are placed in such a way that different parts of the body can be supplied with exactly the right heat retention. The duck down is certified according to the Responsible Down Standard and, with a fill power of 750 cuin, keeps you pleasantly warm even in the bitter cold. The TirolWool® Responsive material also warms when it's wet - which is why it is used on the hood, shoulders and cuffs.

The soft, close-fitting hood that can be adjusted at the back and the high collar offer additional protection when it gets stormy and uncomfortable. The ergonomic fit of the sleeves and shoulders allows a high degree of freedom of movement and prevents the jacket from riding up when moving overhead. The two-way front zip is also particularly practical when climbing, because it always allows access to the climbing harness and belay device. If it does get warm, the jacket can be stowed away quickly and easily in its own pocket.
