At temperatures above +15° C, conventional gas mixtures can "over-power" many cookers. When the regulator is fully turned on, more gas flows out due to the high pressure than can be burned cleanly. The efficiency drops, and you use more fuel than necessary.

Primus has optimized the Summer Gas for temperatures from +15° C to +40° C. It ensures the best possible efficiency in hot weather. Summer Gas is a mixture of propane and butane and has been a carbon dioxide-neutral camping fuel since 2015.
