The Primus PowerLighter is a storm lighter with a narrow torch flame for lighting stoves and campfires. The flame reaches a temperature of 1,300 °C, making it easier to ignite liquid fuels even in adverse weather conditions.

The PowerLighter is water-resistant and can also be used in rain and snow. A short cord makes it easy to carry. The lighter is supplied empty and without gas.
