The Venet Softshell is a lightweight and functional vest from Ortovox designed for sporty ski touring – from a quick after-work outing to a long weekend ascent. It combines reliable weather protection with high breathability and plenty of freedom of movement.

The wind- and water-repellent Merino Airsolation fabric, containing 79 % polyamide, is particularly robust, stretchy and designed for intense activities in the mountains. On the inside, fine merino wool feels pleasantly soft against the skin and helps maintain a balanced body temperature – ideal when you’re working up a sweat on the ascent.

A double-layered collar provides additional protection against chilly winds, whilst elasticated armholes ensure a comfortable, close-fitting finish. The rucksack-compatible chest pocket offers space for essential small items and, thanks to its mesh lining, also aids ventilation. A bonded hem at the front and an elasticated insert at the back ensure a comfortable fit and optimum freedom of movement.
