The Venet Softshell is a lightweight, functional pair of trousers from Ortovox designed for active ski touring – from a quick after-work run to a long weekend ascent. They combine reliable protection against wind and moisture with high breathability and plenty of freedom of movement.

The wind- and water-repellent Merino Airsolation fabric, containing 79 % polyamide, is particularly robust and pleasantly lightweight. On the inside, fine merino wool ensures a soft feel against the skin and helps maintain a balanced body temperature – ideal for strenuous ascents. Additional panels made from Merino Airsolation Stretch, containing 75 % polyamide, on the seat, back of the thighs and in the crotch area increase elasticity and give you full freedom of movement with every step and every hairpin bend.

The adjustable waistband with an elasticated insert at the back ensures a comfortable, secure fit. Pre-shaped knees support natural movement, whilst two front pockets provide space for essential small items. Water-repellent edge protection enhances durability in the ski area. Thanks to the zip-adjustable leg width and the partially adjustable hem with internal elastic, the trousers can be perfectly adapted to ski boots.
