Ortovox has designed the Merino Shield Tec line, and with it the Pala Light softshell jacket, precisely for such long, alpine routes!

The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the men's jacket has been equipped with additional inserts in particularly exposed areas such as the shoulders and hips to offer maximum protection against rugged rock. The 4-way stretch fabric provides full freedom of movement, which is supported by an athletic cut and pre-shaped elbow areas. Thanks to its membrane-free construction, the Pala Light jacket for men is particularly breathable, while fine merino wool on the inside and merino mesh inserts in the collar make it even more comfortable to wear.

The softshell jacket has elasticated cuffs and hem and, thanks to its high-reach performance fit, follows your every move and is fully geared towards climbing. The chest pocket has space for a topo, cell phone, bar or other small items that need to be quickly to hand on a long day on the mountain.

For the sake of the environment, the entire Ortovox Merino Shield Tec line is also completely PFC-free. With a fresh look, the Pala Light men's jacket is ready for big climbing lines on high rock faces.
