The Ortler Gore-Tex® is a pair of ultra-lightweight hardshell trousers from Ortovox designed for demanding ski tours where reliable weather protection, high breathability and maximum freedom of movement are essential. The new Gore-Tex® Performance fabric provides effective protection against wind and wet conditions, whilst offering even better performance than before.

The soft, pleasantly quiet 3-layer fabric is thinner yet more robust, weighing in at just 86 g/m². This ensures the trousers remain pleasantly light and stripped back to the essentials, without compromising on function or protection. Even during strenuous ascents, the high breathability ensures a balanced body temperature, whilst side ventilation zips allow for additional airflow when needed.

The ergonomic cut with a pre-shaped knee area offers full freedom of movement. The adjustable waistband with belt loops ensures a secure and personalised fit. Two practical thigh pockets provide space for essential items. The right-hand pocket also features a volume pleat, an integrated mesh pocket and a lightweight carabineer to prevent the avalanche transceiver from being lost.

Designed for use in high-alpine terrain, the Ortovox Ortler Gore-Tex® trousers have been thought through down to the last detail: integrated gaiters with non-slip elastic reliably keep snow out, whilst the robust Dyneema®-CORDURA® edge protection shields the leg cuffs from damage caused by ski edges. A zip allows the leg width to be further adjusted for a perfect fit with ski touring boots.
