The Ortler Gore-Tex® is an ultra-light hardshell jacket from Ortovox designed for demanding ski tours, offering reliable protection in changeable mountain conditions. The new Gore-Tex® Performance fabric provides lasting protection against wind and wet weather whilst remaining highly breathable – ideal for strenuous ascents and long days in alpine terrain.

The soft and pleasantly quiet 3-layer fabric is thinner yet more robust than before. Weighing just 86 g/m², the jacket packs down to a very small size and fits easily even into a fully packed touring rucksack. Despite its minimalist design, it impresses with high functionality, a comfortable feel and an ergonomic fit that allows unrestricted freedom of movement.

The dual-adjustable, helmet-compatible hood offers additional protection in adverse conditions. 2-way zips under the arms provide rapid ventilation, whilst two rucksack-optimised front pockets and a ski pass pocket offer practical storage space. Pre-shaped sleeves, width-adjustable cuffs and an adjustable hem ensure a personalised fit. The extended back panel offers additional protection against wind and snow.
