Norrøna designed the Falketind dri1 Jacket as a lightweight shell jacket for year-round mountaineering, but it is also ideal for many other outdoor activities, from trekking to ski touring. It packs down very small, so you can always take it with you.

The impressive features of the dri1 material are that it is particularly lightweight, packable, durable, breathable, and waterproof. The dri1 fabric consists of 100% recycled nylon outer material made from Bureo yarns, 22d, 73g/m². The inside of this fabric creates a small microclimate between you and the PU membrane. In addition, the dri1 is treated with a PFC-free impregnation.

A helmet-compatible hood with one-handed adjustment, Velcro cuffs, an elasticated hem, a zipped chest pocket, and zipped ventilation on the chest – all this has been integrated into this high-quality, functional, and amazingly lightweight hardshell jacket. The jacket has a technical fit with a Y-cut and movable arms for optimal freedom of movement when climbing. A longer cut at the back provides additional protection. There are no seams on the shoulders to prevent chafing when wearing a rucksack.
