Technology

TSM Pulse Core
To create a ride that’s both smooth and stable, Nordica’s Santa Ana construction combines its Terrain Specific Metal technology with the specially developed Pulse Core. The precisely tuned metal layer, paired with the elastomer layer and full wood core, allows you to ski confidently in all terrain while maximizing performance and fun. Exceptionally responsive for maximum precision and control. Dampens vibrations for a smooth, fluid feel.

Unlocked Tail Shape
To enhance maneuverability, Nordica raised the tail shape of its all-mountain skis. This shape allows for easier navigation at lower speeds and in tight spots without sacrificing high-end performance.

Terrain Specific Metal
Terrain Specific Metal means that Nordica adjusts the width of the Titanal layer between the edges for each ski in the collection. Each ski features the same metal profile, but the width underfoot increases proportionally with narrower waist widths. This ensures that narrower, more carving-focused skis provide enhanced edge hold and stability, while wider, powder-oriented skis offer more playfulness and versatility. Weight reduction and targeted vibration damping. Increased stability through strategic positioning. Enhanced playfulness.

Base Graphic
The base design features a special geometric layout to highlight two characteristics of the ski: a horizontal line shows where the rocker begins, and the intersection of the diagonal cut with the edge marks the ski’s widest sidecut point—for optimal edge grip.

True Tip
By eliminating the heavy ABS plastic from the tip and replacing it with a tapered extension of the lightweight wood core, Nordica has further reduced the ski’s weight. This also enhances its playfulness and maneuverability without compromising that signature sense of power and control. Lighter. Smoother. More agile.
