The women's version of the Island MFS Active GTX from Meindl is a stable, high boot made of sil nubuck leather for demanding trekking and tough hikes up into the high mountains. It is one of the classics in the Meindl model range and has been impressing the outdoor community for years.

Wearing comfort and fit are of central importance in trekking shoes. With the Iceland, various features are responsible for this. The Air Active Soft Print Drysole footbed provides even cushioning over the entire length of the sole, while the special insole ensures the all-important moisture management that is particularly important in extreme climates.

Thanks to the memory foam system, this shoe adapts perfectly to your foot. The DiGAfix technology with its flexible and pressure-free diagonal fixation in the instep area ensures optimal heel fit. The Vibram sole with a deep tread ensures optimal and secure grip in the terrain. As befits an ambitious trekking shoe, the Island MFS Active women's shoe is waterproof and breathable. It is also conditionally designed for the use of crampons (baskets).
