The Alpinist JR Long Travel combines maximum performance with minimum effort. If you want to learn how to ski tour, there's no getting round a pin binding.

It is perfect for youngsters: the Alpinist JR is designed for a weight of up to around 65 kg, for children and teenagers who regularly go up the mountain and need optimum performance. The Z-value of 2 - 6 is precisely tailored to young ski tourers.

The adjustment range of 35 mm (255 to 277 mm) also allows the binding to grow with the child over a wide range. With a walking position of 0°, 7° and 13°, it offers the best ascent comfort in any terrain. Basically, the Alpinist JR has all the functions of its "big" siblings. Young riders also appreciate the Junior U-Bow, which makes it easier to get on and improves positioning.

With a weight of just 350 g per binding and an extra-light, fibreglass-reinforced plastic U-bow, the Alpinist JR offers an excellent combination of stability and lightness. The Long Travel version is equipped with a 90 mm brake, perfect for the next generation of touring skiers.

Technology

LENGTH ADJUSTMENT:
The ALPINIST heel offers a 15mm heel adjustment range (from -7.5mm to +7,5 mm).

ACTIVE LENGTH COMPENSATION:
Active length compensation in the heel allowing the heel to move back up to 4 mm when the ski is flexed.

ALPINIST BRAKE / LONG TRAVEL BRAKE:
Optional brake for MARKER ALPINIST. Improved usability on both brakes

CRAMPON KINGPIN/ALPINIST:
Easy to install crampons for KINGPIN and Alpinist available in the sizes 80mm, 90mm, 105mm, 120mm
