Technology

Freeride Sandwich Cap Construction
The Freeride Sandwich Cap Construction consists of two layers of Titanal and a Karuba/beech wood core in the unisex models, and a specially tuned poplar/PET wood core in the women’s line. Both provide the ultimate combination of stability and liveliness. A flax layer and Graphene complete the construction, delivering the most powerful freeride construction to date.

Hybrid Top Surface
Gives the ski its distinctive look. The flax-infused resin-coated upper edge reduces chipping, while the traditional top sheet minimizes scratches. Less top sheet material also means less plastic overall.

Karuba-Beech Light Weight Wood Core
An incredibly strong construction offering excellent performance at low weight and strong damping characteristics.

Graphene
Graphene is currently the thinnest and lightest material used in ski construction. Its use allows for incredibly lightweight yet high-performing skis.

Structured UHM C Base
Made from the same material used in HEAD’s top-level race skis. A structured base that’s suitable for all snow conditions.
